Trees

Two weeks ago, we planted trees in Hillside Park, a historic park in Durham. A school was built there in 1922 making it more than a hundred years old. The school was the first school in Durham to serve black students. With Keep Durham Beautiful, we planted 80 trees in total and cleaned up the forest. We dug a 1 foot hole, and then got the tree out of its box. After that, we put it in the hole and covered it with dirt. Even if it was raining, I had a lot of fun and we helped the environment.
